Chinatown Becomes Betting Strip

Chinatown

Community leaders is fearful and angry that London's Chinatown had become a betting strip. It is no longer a place to visit for Chinese food, oriental produce or to enjoy Chinese culture.

Businesses are moving out as being planted near a betting shop is bad for business. Tourist are also turned off to see a colony of betting shops. This reflects badly on London as a whole.

According to the chairman of London Chinese Community Centre, the dwellers find gambling irresistible. A social worker further detailed out the reason for such addiction.
